Principal Architect - Azure Infrastructure

Responsibilities:

• Practice building:  Play a critical role in the growth of the Azure Infrastructure practice through recruitment, thought leadership and team mentorship and leadership.  Drive and foster the ongoing creation, evolution, delivery and organizational education on methodology, best practices, templates and tools within the practice and business line.
• Team Development:  mentor Practice Consultants in technical direction and personal and professional growth.  Work directly with individual team members to develop documented measurable goals and timelines and align objectives with organizational objectives.
• Project Delivery:  This position has a 75% utilization target.  Able to successfully provide technical leadership for projects of various sizes and complexity.

Requirements:

•   7+ years of experience working with infrastructure teams on projects
•   1+ months in a pre-sales support
•   6+ month of experience with an automation tool (Chef, Puppet, Ansible, Terraform)
•   3+ year experience with Azure
•   Experience with IaaS and PaaS solutions in Azure
•   Exposure to or work with AWS and/or GCP of 6+ months
•   Certification in at least cloud foundational concepts or certification
•   Azure Certified Solutions Architect Preferred but not required
•   1+ years’ experience with on-premise to cloud migrations (office 365 &/or Azure)
•   1+ years’ experience with Policy, governance, security configuration
