Experience
- Minimum 7 years of experience with electronics system design
- Minimum 3 years in Senior Engineer or Team Lead role
- Experience in a Supervisory role of 1-3 employees is an asset
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in Electronics such as: Analog Electronics, Embedded Systems, Real-time Operation Systems
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with low noise analog electronics including instrumentation amplifiers, low noise analog circuits, low noise ADC, etc.
- 3+ years’ experience in engineering document processing: BOMs, drawings, schematics, production packages, etc.
- 3+ years’ experience using ORCAD software to perform schematic capture and printed-circuit-board design/layout
- 3+ years firmware coding using embedded real-time operating system
- Knowledgeable in AUTOCAD or Solidworks is an asset
- Knowledge of C and C++ software for embedded applications is required
- Strong debugging skills with analog and digital electronics
- Solid knowledge of Verilog is required to perform FPGA/CPLD programming and simulation
- Knowledge of seismic sensor technology is an asset • Experience with Embedded Linux systems is an asset
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering
Master of Engineering or Electronics a plus
