Job Description

Working on some of the largest and leading-edge engagements; the role of the Microsoft Security and Compliance Consultant, is to be customer-facing and to play an active role in modernizing customers’ security & compliance risk mitigation approach, leveraging Microsoft solutions & platforms, and Microsoft zero-trust frameworks.

The role will involve delivering throughout the customer engagement lifecycle and we expect confidence with performing discovery, analysis, design, and implementation of solutions. In addition, confidence in meeting with customers and leading workshops will be necessary for success.

General Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in IT professional services delivery.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in Microsoft solution services delivery.

Role Specific Requirements:

  • Proven design, planning and implementation experience with securing Microsoft 365 (Identity, Endpoint, Data, and Applications)
  • Experience in working with Microsoft Security Workloads, including Azure AD Identity Protection, Microsoft Defender for Identity, Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Microsoft Defender for Office 365, Microsoft Cloud App Security, and Azure Sentinel.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Conditional Access solution, integrations, and deployment options
  • Experience working with customer Productivity and Security teams to help provide guidance in moving to cloud-based security.
  • Experience working with Microsoft 365 Defender incident response (IR).
  • Knowledge of Microsoft’s Threat Hunting solutions in Azure Sentinel and Microsoft 365 Security workloads.

Role Specific Preferred Experience:

  • Experience leveraging Microsoft 365 Compliance Manager to manage regulatory or compliance requirements for an organization leveraging assessment templates such as GDPR, CMMC, NIST, etc. is a plus.
  • Experience implementing data classification with Microsoft 365 Compliance workloads (sensitive information types, sensitivity labels, and retention) is a plus.
  • Experience with Microsoft Intune, App Protection, Co-Management, Cloud Attach, Modern Endpoint Manager, and Autopilot is a plus.
  • Experience with migration from 3rd Party EPP and/or EDR solutions is a plus.
  • Experience with migrating from 3rd Party Identity Providers (ex. Okta to Azure AD) is a plus.

Recommended Certifications:

  • Microsoft 365 Security Administration (Exam MS-500)
  • Microsoft Azure Security Technologies (Exam AZ-500)

Preferred Certifications:

  • CISSP, CCSP, or CompTIA Security+
  • Microsoft Certified: Security Operations Analyst Associate (Exam SC-200)
  • Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate (Exam SC-300)
  • Microsoft Certified: Information Protection Administrator Associate (Exam SC-400)
  • Microsoft 365 Identity and Services (Exam MS-100)
  • Microsoft 365 Mobility and Security (Exam MS-101)

Compensation:

  • This position is full time offering a base salary and monetary incentives.
