The right candidate will need to identify business needs and build solutions to drive business growth, automation, and enablement for multiple business partners such as Operations, Construction, Finance, and Accounting, this role requires a strong knowledge of BI solutions, data analytics, data management, and normalization, data modeling & visualization tools, mainly PowerBI. This position will be responsible for designing and implementing data solutions for business partners, utilizing data, data science, and tech solutions to drive insights and ultimately value for the company. This individual must function in a fast-paced environment, be adaptable to the many changing processes and technology related to the data warehouse environments.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Work closely with BI team, data engineers, DBA groups, and business partners to create technical requirements, database design, and BI solutions that will empower business partners to embrace data confidently and responsibly to address their complex challenges
• Power BI and SSRS administration for on-premises and Reporting Services
• Build enterprise scalable, complex data visualizations, dashboards, KPI scorecards in Power BI Desktop
• Create/write SQL queries, complex joins, stored procedures, views, indexes, and other database objects to process, prepare and extract data from various data sources like SQL Server, Azure Synapse SQL Datawarehouse, and SSAS.
• Continue to develop the infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources using SQL, third party APIs, and ETL technologies
• Test and validate reports, dashboards, and database objects for data accuracy/consistency and visuals.
• Analyze existing SQL queries for performance improvements.
• Communicate with clients and stakeholders.

Education and Experience:

• 7+ years of experience with Microsoft Power BI stack.
• Utilize appropriate data analytics and statistical tools and techniques to analyze a variety of data and data sources.
• Expertise in SQL, ELT/ETL, reporting, and Visual Analytics tools including SSMS, SSRS, SSIS and Power BI, with proven implementation and adoption in large-scale enterprise environments
• Understanding of Machine Learning
• Understanding of Adobe Analytics and Omniture, Google Analytics, and other Social/App Tracking Tools 
• Understanding of analytical methods and regression models, and advanced analytics software (SAS, R, Python, and others), big data programming
• Have solid/emerging experience with statistical modeling, analytics, database usage, and design theories
• Strong analytic skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy are required.
• Extensive experience with Microsoft Power BI stack on Azure platform with related tools - Azure Analysis Services/SSAS, DAX and M queries, SSRS, SSIS, Excel, Power Pivot, and Azure Data Factory.
• Bachelor’s Degree is required
