Job Description

As a developer for this fast-growing SAAS company. duties will include:

  • Building interactive consumer data from multiple systems and RESTfully abstract to the UI through a Node.js backend
  • Define code architecture decisions to support a high-performance and scalable product with a minimal footprint
  • Address and improve any technical issues
  • Collaborate well with engineers, researchers, and data implementation specialists to design and create advanced, elegant and efficient systems

Skills Required:

  • Node.JS, MongoDB, ExpressJS, Angular (MEAN stack).
  • NestJS
  • Developed applications based on MEAN stack.
  • Work on API development/integration

Skills Desired:

  • MEAN Stack and NestJS design patterns
  • Jira
  • Git/Github/Gitlab
  • Developing NPM packages
  • Deployed applications in Cloud (VCP/AWS)
  • Automated testing suite development (Jenkins or like)
  • MongoDB Developer Certification (Desired)
  • MEAN stack Developer Certification (Desired)

Responsibilities:

  • Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with API
  • Writing reusable, testable, and efficient code
  • Design and implementation of low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications
  • Implementation of security and data protection
  • Integration of data storage solutions may include databases, key-value stores, blob stores, etc.
  • Develop and maintain current application developed using ElectronJS

Skills And Qualifications:

  • MongoDB, DocumentDB, ElectronJS,
  • Strong proficiency with JavaScript
  • Knowledge of NodeJS and frameworks available for it such as Express, NestJS, etc
  • Understanding the nature of asynchronous programming and its quirks and workarounds
  • Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as HTML5, and CSS3
  • Understanding accessibility and security compliance Depending on the specific project
  • User authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments
  • Integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system
  • Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
  • Understanding differences between multiple delivery platforms, such as mobile vs. desktop, and optimizing output to match the specific platform
  • Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes
  • Implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests
  • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
