Job Description

For this Dallas based client we are recruiting for an experienced Digital Transformation/ERP Project Manager that is familiar with solution architecture, RFPs, vendor evaluation and scoring, and implementing tier 1 end-to-end packaged solutions.  This is for a large project to migrate off of multiple legacy systems to a modern flexible solutions.  Activities include:

  • Project Management:
    • Day to day project management activities including project planning, scheduling, tracking, and budgeting
    • Unify various priorities ranging from executive to tactical
    • Control of deliverables
    • Mobilization of and working with business and IT SMEs
    • Preparation and presentation of project periodic progress reports
  • Business Requirements Definition:
    • Assist in finalizing business requirements, system functionality, and landscape of future applications documents that will be shared with potential software vendors and System Integrators
    • Assist business SMEs in preparing demo scenarios
  • RFP Creation and Distribution:
    • Act as the central of point coordination to collect the information necessary to create the RFP
    • Act as the main point of contact with software vendors and System Integrators
    • Distribute the RFP to shortlisted vendors
    • Contact vendors to schedule demo sessions
  • Scorecard collection and analysis:
    • Work with the core team to define scorecard models
    • Distribute the scorecards to business SMEs and explain how they should be completed
    • Collect and synthesize scorecards
    • Present synthesized scorecards to the core team
  • RFP Response:
    • Manage the RFP response schedule
    • Receive RFP responses and proposals
    • Coordinate the core team’s review of RFP responses and proposals
    • Manage follow up actions with vendors
    • Receive final proposals
    • Coordinate the core team’s review of proposals
    • Schedule decision making meetings with the steering committee incorporating the feedback from the core team
  • Final Decision:
    • Manage the activities to facilitate the final decision including communications with vendors
