As a growing Company with plans for significant continuing growth, we are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our team to lead the organization through a major ERP conversion. This role requires you to drive strong collaboration across a wide array of disciplines including Accounting, Operations, Customer Service and Marketing. As the primary contact person between outside vendors and internal stakeholders from entry-level to executives, you must have excellent communication skills and can make critical decisions under pressure.
You will maintain project scope, schedule, costs, project quality and delivery. Your ability to keep the conversion project on-track and within preestablished deadlines is crucial. Additionally, you will ensure that all items identified in the project Requirements Document are addressed and implemented. You must be an organized, detail-oriented, persistent and thorough professional, able to balance the needs of both short- and long-term goals within the Project.
Responsibilities:
- Project ownership – lead, develop and document the Project through the full life cycle
- Clear communication, tracking and analysis with all stakeholders
- Balance evolving needs of projects with varied timelines and priorities
- Identify areas of weakness; create and implement paths to continual improvement
- Keep the Project on track, on time and under budget.
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent industry experience
- Formal project management training required, PMP preferred
Requirements:
- 7+ years in a project management leadership role
- Proven history of project success, including software, ERP transition projects
- Independent, inclusive, self-motivated and driven to make an impact
Preferred:
- Experience in service-based businesses
- Experience in financial/ERP software projects
- Experience with customer-facing service portal projects
