We have an open Lead Developer role for an exciting and very well funded sports tech company based in Pennsylvania. This is a remote role and you will have the chance to learn from the most influential pioneers of electronic trading and market microstructure. Responsibilities 

- Co-lead the development and stewardship of the core trading exchange 

- Be an integral part in building a reliable, performant, easy to operate trading platform without accumulating technical debt. 

- Assume a leading role in the team once the product is launched into production 

- Maximize delivery under time constraints & prioritize features to be able to meet deadlines. 

Qualifications 

- 5+ years of experience building highly performant software applications 

- Good understanding of threading models & memory management 

- Familiarity with machine architecture and assembly language 

- Familiarity with embedded systems 

- Good understanding of programming language and compilers concepts 

- Good development hygiene practices. Mainly, continuous Integration and Test Driven Development 

preferred 

- Java/Kotlin JVM languages experience a plus
