Our client has a position with the Cloud services team. Cloud represents a radical shift in how IT services are obtained, used, and managed. Work you’ll do

  • Client Management: Manage day to day interactions with executive clients and sponsors

  • Engagement Management: Lead engagement planning and budgeting; mobilize and manage engagement teams; define deliverable structure and content; facilitate buy-in of proposed solutions from top management levels at the client; direct on-time, quality delivery of work products; manage engagement economics; manage engagement risk

  • Delivery: Analyze client’s existing application and infrastructure, design target state architecture using cloud architecture and modernization best practices, develop a plan to achieve target state and then manage a team to deliver target state, modernized applications on cloud infrastructure.

  • Business Development: Develop and maintain contact with top decision makers at key clients; organize and lead pursuit teams; participate and lead aspects of the proposal development process; contribute to the development of proposal pricing strategies

  • Practice Development & Eminence: Develop practical solutions and methodologies; develop "thoughtware" and "point-of-view" documents; participate in public speaking events; get published in industry periodicals

  • People Development: Perform role of counselor and coach; provide input and guidance into the staffing process; actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities; provide leadership and support for delivery teams and staff in local offices

Qualifications

Required:

  • 5+ years of experience and certification with public cloud providers Amazon Web Services (AWS), Azure or GCP architecture, tools and cloud methodologies.

  • 5+ years of experience managing Cloud Migration and modernization programs/projects and an ability to adapt experience into best practices for immediate use

  • At least 3 years of experience with designing cloud implementation architectures and solutions using PaaS, DevOps & Advanced Application coding

  • 2+ years of experience with architecting and designing solutions using cloud technology paradigms like serverless, containers, microservices

  • 7+ years of experience with application transformation and modernizatrion & data migrations projects. Demonstrated experience on multiple toolsets and adaptability to learn new tools and processes a plus.

  • 3+ years of experience with various Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD), Source Code Repos and configuration management tools, technologies and best practices

  • 5+ years of experience with performing discovery and assessment of customer's overall applications portfolio, IT and business priorities and customer insights to create a modernization roadmap

  • 10+ years of IT experience as a technical specialist in Customer-facing roles.

  • Ability to travel up to 100% (While 100% of travel is a requirement of the role, due to COVID-19, non-essential travel has been suspended until further notice.)

Preferred:

  • Professional certification in Solution Architect for AWS, GCP and Azure required & project or program management preferred (e.g., PMP, PgMP, Scrum Master, Product Owner certification) a plus

  • Architecting building, and operating global IT infrastructures using cloud technology and services.

  • Experience architecting highly available systems that utilize load balancing, horizontal scalability and high availability

  • Bachelor’s degree in CS or equivalent industry experience

  • Familiarity with R6 Application Rationalization Methodology

  • Experience with Program or Project Management experience methodologies like Agile or Agile-like environments a plus

  • Strong Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills

  • Experience with cost/Benefit modeling and creating compelling business cases for migration a plus but not required.

  • Strong expertise in developing cloud migration roadmaps and driving buy-in across complex organization structures.

  • A proven track record of managing and delivering large-scale enterprise IT projects.

  • Familiarity with Enterprise Architecture Frameworks (e.g. TOGAF, Zachman) and identifying the relationships between business services, information, applications and global infrastructure assets.

  • Broad Enterprise systems experience including multiple application stacks - SAP, Oracle, MSFT and custom Java/.NET (LAMP) applications.

  • Familiarity with compliance & security standards across the enterprise IT landscape.

  • Experience in a range of cloud migration discovery, profiling, migration, and operations technologies and tools

  • Organize and lead pursuit teams, proposal and SOW development process, contribute to proposal pricing strategy and solutioning

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations.

  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills with demonstrated executive engagement and proven ability to present strategic information to, and drive change across a broad range of audiences.
