• Participate in all phases of software development in an agile environment
• Practice SOLID coding principles with unit tests, refactoring, review
• Design and code new features based upon just enough specification to provide a minimum viable product.
• Iterate existing features to continually add value to the overall product offerings.
• Analyze existing features to determine where problems occur and develop possible solutions
• Work within departmental standards, policy, and guidelines of software development, security, and operational support.

Successful candidates typically have:

• Strong coding skills in C#, SQL, Javascript and associated frameworks
• Desire to continually make the codebase better
• Proficiency in analysis and problem solving
• Ability to take initiative and conduct thorough follow-up
• Excellent oral and written communication - able to voice concerns, suggest changes and improvements during retrospectives, and give daily standup reports
• Ability to pair program and participate in peer code reviews
• Experience in Visual Studio
